Victor Baxter (Rondell Sheridan) gets a job as a personal chef to the President of the United States and, with daughter Raven Baxter (Raven Symone) in designing school, her friends Chelsea Daniels (Anneliese van der Pol) and Eddie Thomas (Orlando Brown) attending college, and wife Tanya Baxter (T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh) still in law school in London, he and his son Cory Baxter (Kyle Massey) pack up and move to the White House in Washington, D.C. There, Cory has to deal with adjusting to a new life at a prep school, while Victor attempts to deal with the pressures of working for the newly-elected president of the United States ,President Richard Martinez.
